Amity Law School (ALS) is a private law college located in Sector‑125, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 2004 to provide professional legal education with a focus on both theory and practice. The institute operates under the Amity University, Noida system and offers a wide range of law programmes including integrated undergraduate law degrees (BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Com LLB) as well as three‑year LLB and LLM/doctoral programmes. Its curriculum is designed to blend classroom learning with practical exposure such as moot courts, internships, and court visits.
Amity Law School emphasizes experiential learning — students compete in moot court competitions, participate in model UNs, legal aid clinics, and engage in real‑world legal activities like Judicial visits and Lok Adalats. The college often hosts seminars, guest lectures, and legal workshops that bring in judges, lawyers, and experts from the judiciary and law firms.
Teaching‑learning: Focuses on case discussions, legal research, writing, and oral advocacy. Students are encouraged to apply legal principles to real problems, not just memorise theory.
Practical exposure: Moot court hall activities, internships with law firms and courts, and legal aid camps form part of the learning environment.
Student Life: Campus life is vibrant with law‑related clubs, debates, and cultural events that help build communication and leadership skills.
Amity Law School has a Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) that coordinates internships and placements. In recent years:
700+ students secured internships or placements with law firms, corporations, and judiciary bodies.
Top recruiters include law firms, corporate legal teams, banks, and NGOs.
Placement outcomes vary by batch and economic climate — to succeed, students often need to actively engage in internships and skill development.
