Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI), established in 1955, is a premier government medical college in Karnataka. The institute is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore. In 2025, BMCRI was ranked 16th out of 54 medical colleges in India by India Today.
