The Indian Institute of Science, Department of Management Studies (IISc DMS), established in 1948, is India’s oldest management school and a leading public university. The department is currently chaired by Prof. Parthasarathy Ramachandran. IISc has been ranked 2nd in the NIRF Rankings and holds a prestigious NAAC Grade A++ accreditation.
IISc DMS offers two key programs: Master of Management (M.Mgt) and Ph.D. in Management Studies, with the M.Mgt being its flagship course. The annual fee for the M.Mgt program is INR 2,66,500, while the Ph.D. program costs INR 35,200 per year. Admission to the M.Mgt program is based on GATE, CAT, or GMAT scores, and applicants must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree.
