Established in 1917, the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) is one of the oldest engineering institutions in India. It is affiliated with Bangalore University, approved by AICTE, and accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade. In the IIRF 2025 Rankings, UVCE was ranked 22nd in the Architecture category.
Courses & Eligibility
UVCE’s flagship program is the B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering), offered across 10 specialisations.
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics securing at least 45% marks.
Selection: Admission is based on valid scores in KCET or JEE Main.
Fees: The total fee for the B.Tech/B.E. program is ₹1.92 Lakhs.
