M.S. Ramaiah Medical College (RMC) is a private university established in 1979. The Gokula Education Foundation runs the college, while Dr. M. R. Jayaram is the chairman of the Ramaiah Group of Institutions. The Medical College was founded with the goal of offering quality education to everyone. The College is a constituent institution of Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS), a state-run private university accredited by the Medical Council of India. RMC is well-equipped with cutting-edge infrastructure, technology-enabled classrooms, and modern labs, with a constant emphasis on teaching, clinical practice, and research.

The admissions process:

The eligibility criteria for the MBBS program at M.S. Ramaiah Medical College are:

• Passed the 12th grade (or equivalent) with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized university.

• The candidate's age should be 17 years as of December 31st of the admission year.

• Students must pass the NEET UG test. For students seeking admission to the MDS Program in M.S. 

Ramaiah Medical College's requirements are:

• Completed MBBS with a 50% aggregate from an MCI-accredited university.

• A one-year mandatory internship at any medical institution or hospital accredited by the MCI.

• Students must pass the NEET PG test.

As the college is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS), the admission procedure is performed through the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

Counselling:

• Students who wish to apply for merit seats under the government (Karnataka domicile holder), private, NRI, or other quota seats can do so through KEA counseling provided by the Karnataka Examinations Authority. To enroll in the MBBS, MD/MS programs at their selected universities, students must first complete the counseling procedures.

• Students search for 15%. All India Quota seats are eligible for MCC counseling by the Medical Counseling Committee. To enroll in the MBBS and MD/MS programs at their selected colleges, students must go through MCC processes.

MBBS:-

A student must pass the NEET UG test and enroll in KEA once the applications are open. A student must complete all of the stages in the KEA counseling process to obtain seats based on their NEET UG ranking in the desired quota (if qualified).
The KEA counseling procedure includes online registration, document verification, choice entry, mock allotment, and actual allotment (depending on available seats).

Documents Required for the Document Verification Process:

Admission is accessible to all UG NEET-qualified applicants, excluding NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and foreign nationals. Please provide the following original documents:

• A printout of the completed online registration form.
• The original copy of the Challan for paying the fees.
• UG NEET Admission Ticket and Score Card
• Valid Identity Card (Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, PAN/Aadhar Card)
• SSLC/10th Standard Marks Card
• 2nd PUC/12th Standard Marks Card
• 2nd PUC/12th Standard Study Certificate issued by the concerned college with the principal's seal and signature
• Two recent passport-sized photographs
• If the individual is applying for minority status, the necessary documentation should be provided. 

MD/MS:-

Once the applications are open, a student must pass the NEET PG test and enroll in KEA. A student must complete all of the stages in the KEA counseling process to obtain seats based on their NEET PG ranking in the desired quota (if eligible).

The process involved in KEA counseling is: 1st round counseling, 2nd round counseling, mop-up round (1 or 2), depending on the vacant seats. This process includes:
• Online registration and document verification.
• Choice Entry; • Mock Allotment; • Actual Allocation

Admission is available to all PG NEET qualified applicants, except NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and foreign nationals. Documents are required for the verification process. The initial papers to be produced are:

• The final print of the KEA 'PGET-2022' Registration Form.
• Photo identification and address proof document (PAN Card, Driver's License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card, Ration Card)
• The NBE has published the NEET PG 2022 admit card and scorecard for medical and dental courses.
• SSLC/10th Standard Marks Card/equivalent Marks Card (with date of birth).
• Second PUC/12th Standard Marks Card.
• MBBS/BDS mark cards supplied by universities for all semesters/years.
• A qualifying degree certificate.
• Provisional Degree Certificate: only for those who finished MBBS/BDS in 2022.
• Certificate of Internship Completion (Annexure 5) for candidates who have previously completed their internships. (Provisional internship completion certificates will be considered for candidates who complete their internship before March 31, 2022, but only for the first round of counseling; see Annexure 6.)
• A certificate from the institute's head stating that MCI/DCI recognizes the Medical/Dental College from which the candidate passed the MBBS/BDS examination.
• Certificate of Registration from the State/Central Medical/Dental Council. Provisional registration certificates will only be considered for candidates who completed their MBBS or BDS in 2022 or 23. A permanent State/Central Medical/Dental Council registration certificate must be supplied during the admissions process. (Candidates who passed prior to 2019 must have the original Permanent Registration Certificate and upload it.).
