Counseling

To enroll in the MBBS, MD, or MS programs at their selected universities, students must first complete the counseling procedures.

Students seeking 15% All India Quota seats can apply for MCC counseling through the Medical Counseling Committee. To get direct admission for MBBS and MD/MS programs at their selected colleges, students must go through MCC processes.

 

MBBS

A student must pass the NEET UG test and enroll in KEA once the applications are open. A student must complete all of the stages in the KEA counseling process in order to obtain seats based on their NEET UG ranking in the desired quota (if qualified).

KEA Counseling Process: 1st Round Counseling, 2nd Round Counseling, Mop Up Round (1 or 2 depending on the vacant seats); this process includes:

  • Online registration
  • Document verification
  • Choice entry
  • Mock allocation
  • Actual allocation

 

Documents necessary for the document verification process are:

Admission is accessible to all UG NEET-qualified applicants, excluding NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and foreign nationals. The original papers to be produced are:

  • A final printout of the online registration form.
  • The original copy of the Challan for paying the fees.
  • UG NEET Admission Ticket and Score Card.
  • Valid Identity Card (Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, PAN/Aadhar Card).
  • SSLC/10th Standard Marks Card.
  • 2nd PUC/12th Standard Marks Card.
  • 2nd PUC/12th Standard Study Certificate issued by the concerned college with the principal's seal and signature. Two current passport-sized pictures.
  • If the individual is applying for minority status, the necessary documentation should be provided.
  • Certificate of Registration from the State/Central Medical/Dental Council. Provisional registration certificates will only be considered for candidates who completed their MBBS or BDS in 2019. During the admissions process, a permanent registration certificate from the state/central medical/dental council must be provided. Candidates who passed prior to 2019 must have the original Permanent Registration Certificate and upload it.
