Established in 1933, Akaki Tsereteli State University (ATSU) is a leading public university located in Kutaisi, Georgia. Named after the famous Georgian poet Akaki Tsereteli, the university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across 9 faculties. While most courses are taught in Georgian, the MBBS program and the MA in Leadership and Management in Higher Education are available in English, attracting many international students.
The MBBS fee at ATSU is 4,000 USD per year, while the MA in Leadership program costs 2,500 USD annually. Admissions are open twice a year, during the Autumn intake (September/October) and the Spring intake (February/March).
