With Chief Justice DY Chandrachud presiding over a bench that also includes Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra, the Supreme Court is now considering more than forty petitions asking for the cancellation of NEET UG 2024 on the grounds of a paper leak that occurred on or before May 4. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has acknowledged faults it made, including giving out the wrong question papers at some places, and has granted grace marks to the students who were impacted. In addition, the NTA has denied rumors that the director of IIT Madras, who wrote the data analytics study, had a conflict of interest.
